Disaster response and recovery

Let’s help people get back on their feet after a disaster

Theatre Bugs Senior Dance class are fundraising for Red Cross to ensure they can be there for people when the worst happens in Australia. Dealing with an emergency can be stressful and exhausting, and recovering from a disaster is a complex process that may take months, even years to overcome. Red Cross supports people through their recovery by being there to provide practical and emotional support and information.

Helping people who have been affected by disasters is really important to us and they would love your support. Please help them by donating to our fundraising page.

Why?

Theatre Bugs have our mid year cabaret performance this June filled with the talents of our wonderful students. This journey began with our Senior Dance class tributing their performance piece 'We Rise' to those who were affected by the 2019/2020 Australian Bushfires. We worked with our Senior Dance students to find a way to create something to contribute directly to the lives affected so we contacted the Australian Red Cross.
