Raising money to support those affected by the 2022 Flood Disaster
After witnessing the devastating rain bomb event, intense storms and flash flooding that have ravaged Brisbane and caused destruction across the state, the team at Oche Fortitude Valley wanted to help support those in need. Partnering with Stone & Wood, Oche Fortitude Valley will be hosting a Karma Keg on Saturday March 5 to raise money for those who have been devastated by the 2022 floods.
With the full impact of the storms yet to be seen, fundraising will take place for the Australian Red Cross throughout the week. Donations to the Queensland and New South Wales Floods Appeal will help the Australian Red Cross provide vital humanitarian support to the people and communities affected by the floods. Money raised will go towards helping facilitate evacuations, fund relief centres and outreach services, and help rebuilding efforts.
On Saturday March 5 2022, Oche will host a Karma Keg from Stone and Wood Brewing Company, with all sales revenue going towards helping the Australian Red Cross provide support for these devastated communities. Karma Kegs work by allowing guests to pay whatever they like for the beer until it runs out; the more the customer gives, the better karma they’ll have! That’s a good reason to raise a glass.
